Dear friends - tonight is the start of the Jewish New Year. I have so many strong feelings on this day, at this time of year, and I want to express some of them in wishes to you all. May you all have a wonderful 5785. May this year be a year of more coexistence and understanding and love and joy and music and lots of full-bellied laughter. Shana Tova!

Hello friends.
I've been working through my videos and adding subtitles to them. Have you noticed? Is this something you find helpful? Do you use foreign language subtitles? All feedback appreciated! 💗

The projects are iconic NYC low-income housing in Williamsburg. (We call it the projects, although I've been told this term is no longer acceptable). Trump is to be visiting across the street from the projects at Gottlieb's Deli. It's interesting to see how the area is prepared for an event like this.

I'm looking to interview people who are personally experienced with unique religious and cultural traditions -- and can speak about them without judgment but with honesty. I'm not interested in proselytizing or in shocking escape tales. I'm really interested in the human experiences of other subcultures - ie Mormon, JW, Amish, etc. If you have ideas for whom I should talk to please leave a comment with a lead! Much obliged! ❤️

This picture is going viral on the Hasidic internet. The dedication to the country lady's circle resonated with lots of people. There's still a little bit of summer left for those of us who are now in the summer. Hope you all get to savor some wonderful fresh air and the smell of summer rain! ❤️

I'm so very sad to hear of the passing of David Biale, a brilliant Jewish scholar and a great human being. I got to know him when I interviewed him for my channel twice. I so hoped to bring him back again. He was a wonderful person and guest. So intelligent, knowledgable, generous, geshmak. When I first approached him, he shared with me that he was sick and would only be able to do the interview if he felt well enough. Several times we had to cancel last minute. He just rolled with it all with so much kindness and good humor. When it finally worked out, he showed up to the interview and made it a wonderful experience. He taught me so much. I'm grateful to have known him. 💔 Baruch dayin emes. 💔

I try to early release my videos for members. Thanks so much to those who are channel members and support my work.
