Unfortunately, Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of my favorite cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants, has passed away. Though he may not be with us, I would like to thank him for creating such an amazing, funny, influential cartoon that changed the television industry forever and touched the hearts of millions young and old. Stephen has truly left a yellow mark on this world. May he rest in peace.
