Barry Harris, singer, songwriter, producer, guitars/keyboards & creator of Kon Kan also co-creator of remix/producer team Thunderpuss, was the first club DJ in the world to write, produce & perform a world-wide Top 40 hit; âI Beg Your Pardonâ - a project he named Kon Kan spring of '88.
1998 Barry teamed up with DJ/Producer Chris Cox. Together as duo Thunderpuss , produced more than 40 #1 Billboard dance remixes for Madonna, Britney Spears, J-lo, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, etc.
Barry is best known for Whitney Houstonâs âItâs Not Right But Itâs Okayâ, & "Dive In The Pool (Let's Get Soakin' Wet).
Barry also continued on as Kon Kan in 2014 rerecording Pardon Me/Rose Garden '14, claimed Spotify's Kon Kan Artist page 2016 & Kon Kan's Apple Music page 2018, reissued Kon Kan's 1994 "Vida" L.P. word-wide digitally 2020 (previously only released in Canada) & finally released new Kon Kan songs in 2023! Barry's new live Kon Kan touring Band coming is soon to a town near you 2024!
