The Luxure were an Italian pop band formed in 1984, very active in northern Italy until 1990. When Luxure formed they were all very young (17 years old) and during their career they published three demotapes: "Draw up your chair", "Yiddish" and "Luck, Marry Me". The band participated in various festivals, winning "Premio Musica" in Vicenza in 1985 and "Vota la voce" in Soave (Verona) in 1989. They were also in Arezzo Wave in 1990, and the concert was broadcasted on VideoMusic, an Italian music channel that eventually would be acquired by MTV. In 1997 they reunited for a short time in order to record a track for "There is A Light That Never Goes Out", the Italian tribute CD to the Smiths. They recorded a cover of "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" which was published in 2000. In 2008 they released a compilation of their most knwn tracks, by the title "Anthology". In 2018 they appeared in another compilaton, volume 6 of "Voyage Through The Deep 80s Underground In Italy".
