I was a baseball card collector from around 1979 to around 1993, with an occasional buy in the later 1990s. I took a long hiatus from collecting and returned to the hobby in 2021. This YouTube channel documents my story where I'll be opening up stuff on camera from the present and the past, plus hunting for baseball cards at antique malls. This YouTube channel is also for those collectors that are interested in ALL the cards, not just inserts and parallels. If you are frustrated with channels that go too fast and skip all that good stuff between the inserts, then you have come to the right place.

The name Pachycardopotamus comes from the mashup of two musical projects of mine, Superluminal Pachyderm and Amalgamated Hippopotamus, with the word "card" between the two.
