Lilly Scourtis is a Greek-American writer/director/producer/editor born and raised in Los Angeles. After college she landed a job at Quentin Tarantinoâs production company then pursued her MFA at Columbia Universityâs prestigious Film program in New York City. Her first feature film, Last Fast Ride, was a documentary about San Francisco underground punk singer Marian Anderson, who struggled with mental illness and addiction. The film premiered at Slamdance, aired on PBS-KQED and is currently streaming on Amazon. Scourtis directed a 70âs horror inspired music video for the song âBewitchedâ by Neon Kross. She is primarily interested in female protagonistsâtroubled girls and girls in trouble, as well as the exploration of female archetypes in storytelling (#filmnerd). Scourtis is a member of Film Fatales and Film Independent.
