Rock Against Racism(RAR) was the massively successful campaign, launched in the 1970's, in response to Eric Clapton's support for the racist Enoch Powell. RAR was supported by major 70's bands like the Clash, Elvis Costello, Aswad, Steel Pulse, Tom Robinson, Misty and many more. This mix of anti-racist politics and rebel music formed the template for the 21st century fightback campaign Love Music Hate Racism, which was celebrated in Victoria Park Hackney in April 2008.
Conflictgrafix were a right little bunch of in-your-face video nasties formed to capture the militant street music of the day and the happy-slapping action, by the Rock Against Racism and Anti Nazi League snuff brigades, which defeated the Nazi National Front/British Movement. The results were put together for your pleasure and inspiration in "Nazis Are No Fun."
If you have any videos or clips you would like to contribute or link to the RAR channel go for it!
