As one of the first African-New Zealander rappers to gain visibility locally, there was no blueprint to follow. The only point of reference available to come relatively close to his experience and ambition came from American acts.
Having worked with the likes of Oddisee, Sampa The Great, Black Milk, JessB, Melodownz, Hollie Smith, REMI and many more, He has always strived to bridge the gaps of understanding and preservation of his experience in New Zealand, while also supporting his artists on the same mission.
“We, the African diaspora are no longer toddlers in the places we immigrated to. We have an identity and a growing presence.” - Raiza Biza.
