Why am I such a good teacher? Because I had to learn how to play the guitar twice!

Over a decade ago I had severe nerve damage to my elbow which required surgery to fix & resulted in me having to relearn how to use my left hand again. This included brushing my teeth, tying my shoelaces and of course, playing the guitar.

In the beginning, I was limited to playing for only 5 minutes, three times a day. So I had to make every minute count.

Luckily, I made a full recovery and got back into playing guitar full-time. I went on to complete my music degree, tour the world with my band and of course, open up Melbourne Guitar Academy which is now the #1 guitar school in my home city of Melbourne.

Guitar is my #1 passion in life and I am making it my personal mission to raise the standard of musical education worldwide by providing students with higher quality tuition via Youtube.
