Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal Medical Educational and Charitable Trust was started in the year 1981 to serve the needy in the society. The Trust established the very first medical college in Pondicherry, Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital in the year 2000. Located in Pondicherry - Cuddalore Road, the self-contained and serene campus is spread over 44 acres. The Institution offers MBBS and Post Graduate courses in 13 disciplines and Ph.D. programs across various Specialities.
Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital offers Patient care, Diagnostic, Rehabilitative, Preventive and Pharmacy services. The institute conducts regular academic activities, in the form of CME Programs, training sessions, workshops, faculty development and student support activities.
