Two legends of overland adventure, Patricia Upton and Connie Rodman, are joining forces with AEV for the 2025 Rebelle Rally as TNT-TriedNTrue. With decades of off-road exploration between them— including Patty’s record-setting Darien Gap crossing and Connie’s London-to-Cape Town expedition — this marks a bold new chapter in their journey: their first entry into America’s toughest all-women off-road navigation challenge.
Patty and Connie will be driving a JL370 Wrangler Venture, that was prepped by AEV specifically for the event. This is essentially the same JL370 Wrangler that someone can purchase off the showroom floor with the addition of a Terra Trip rally computer, Goose-Gear rear seat delete, and a variety of mounting accessories by American Adventure Lab. This JL370 was given the name Sand Ship Discovery II and features a unique color way, paying homage to Patty’s original 1966 Jeep CJ-5 that took her and her husband Loren all around the world and got them into the Guinness Book of World Records.
