Our mission is one of education and understanding, and to meet these objectives, we strive for all guests who having visited any of our sanctuaries (Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary) to leave with a greater understanding of the primates, birds, apex cats and wild animals in general and to understand the threats and challenges they are facing.
Monkeyland -- the world's first free-roaming multi-species primate sanctuary (at The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay) - offers tours (we call them monkey safaris) during which you'll see XX species of monkeys, lemurs, gibbons, and other primates in their forest home. And you'll experience our 128-metre suspended canopy walk. There's also a restaurant, souvenir store, and viewing deck. Our safari guides are multi-lingual (English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch, French, and Spanish -- with other languages on request).
