Maharifa Marango is a Congolese-American artist, songwriter, Producer, and New York-based artist. Born on June 15th in The Democratic Republic of the Congo, is known mainly by his stage name, M Kingson.
He won East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA) 2024 as Best Songwriter/Lyricist of the Year Diaspora and Song of the year Diaspora (Nimeachwa Remix ft Barnaba Classic).
M Kingson has made a name for himself in the African music industry, working with some big names in East African music such as Chino Kidd, Barnaba Classic, Tunda Man, Beka Flavour, Kusah, Kayumba, Linah, Kimambo and The Mix Killer.
