I've been told that my music is good to do other things to; long walks, road trips and thinking.
I started playing drums with my brother Mike Paxton when we were kids and we always jammed and made music for the moment.
I played in bands and jammed with friends and would record all the different sound explorations. In recent years I have started composing music on my own using samplers and synthesisers.
Since I can remember i have been a fan of Tortoise with their combination of acoustic and electronic instruments and samples. The "Spilled Dirt" EP all exists around some interesting Ambient textures kinda like Aphex Twin - someone said it sounded like "IDM made on an IBM".
