Here's some pictures I took at the lake in my friends neighborhood, last Saturday. It was so pretty, but my camera quality is... interesting. Also, I do apologize for the lack of posting. Motivation has been a bit hard to come across, lately. I hope anyone seeing this has an amazing day.💙

I am not at a levelheaded mind at the moment, so I am only going to explain this in a post, for now. I had possibly one of the worst days of school, today. For context before this incident; I am disabled. I need to use the elevator in my school because I am a high faint risk, have knee problems that can cause me to fall, or the steps can damage my knees more. I have expressed this as well as other accomodations to the school ever since my freshman year and they have either mildly accommodated, or didn't even inform my teachers/other staff about my needs, such as: leaving 5-7 minutes early each class, not doing presentations because of my high fainting risk, and, once again, using the elevator. I have also had documentation, that violates federal and state law, shoved in my face by the nurse, that makes me say my disability, why I need my cane/wheelchair, the doctor that diagnosed me, and a signature by that doctor, stating that I need my mobility devices. I have let all of those slide, mainly because I was inexperienced in going to school with my devices, due to the pandemic. Being in my junior year, now, I know the ADA and NC state laws like the back of my hand. Just by these instances alone, I could file a report to the DPI, however I will not. Now, because only the nurse, front office, and three random teachers are allowed to have a copy of the key to the elevator (even though none of those teachers are disabled), I have had to rely on them alone to, hopefully, get me up and down the elevator to my classes by a reasonable time. I have been stranded upstairs more than 4 times now, this year. I was promised yesterday, because the day beforehand I was stranded by the front office, that the assistant principal would meet me at the elevator at the usual time I get there to open it. He did, yesterday. Today, however, he did not. I had to force myself downstairs, causing extreme knee pain, a heart rate spike, and multiple instances where I've almost fainted, because of it. I was constantly shaking, unable to focus, and mildly crying because of the stress. I had almost fainted 6 times during that class period, which thankfully was my last period of the day. All of this, because it is somehow a liability to give a disabled person who needs the elevator, a copy of the key.

I swear, if I see another video, picture, or post of someone faking a service animal, I will have a stroke. Pets, ESA's (emotional support animals), and therapy animals DO NOT have ANY public access rights. There is NO legal registration in the US making your pet a service animal, and an Amazon vest doesn't make it one, either. You are breaking FEDERAL and state laws when you bring your pets into non-pet friendly places, whether you directly state they're a service animal or not. You can go to jail for up to 6 months, get upwards of a $15,000 fine (depending on the state), get your animal taken away, and even be banned from owning animals, again. If your animals also attacks a service animal or handler, and the handler ends up in the hospital, you can and WILL be charged with attempted manslaughter. LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME!

Just a disabled high schooler, future service dog handler (other is retired), and advocate. I may post in the community tab from time to time, but never really any videos. If you want to see service dog handlers that do, please check out my playlist of amazing service dog handlers that I am subscribed to. Have a nice day!
