I'm going to try something a little different. I've noticed the last few weeks that 10 meter DX has been pouring into North America during (our) early morning hours. So I'm going out, braving the cold, and setting up my famous 10 meter J-Pole antenna to catch the European grayline. I'll be on 10 meter sideband and FT8, Sunday December 1, 1400z - 1600z at Rib Mountain State Park US-1473. Look for me on the POTA spotting page ~KB9VBR

Quick programming note. After 26 weekly episodes for season 11 we will take a short break. The next video will be our livestream on Thursday September 5th. Watch for it! In the meantime I’ll be on the road at US-1462, Merrick State Park along the beautiful Mississippi River testing out what’s inside this tube.

I've got a bit of a programming announcement for next month. We will not have a July livestream as the first Thursday of the month lands on Independence Day. Please enjoy the holiday and stay safe.
Which brings up the question, what will I be doing for additional content during the month. I usually air livestream excerpts on Sunday, but with no livestream I have no content. In its place I will be running some product reviews, featurettes, and behind the scenes stuff. In all honesty, I should be taking a break, but we'll give this a shot.

In case you missed it, I did a presentation at Hamvention on how to have a successful Parks on the Air activation. Thank you to @ARRLHQ for recording and posting my presentation.

Sunday March 10 is the Wisconsin QSO Party, starting at 1800z and running until 0100z the next day. Dave, KZ9V and I (KB9VBR) will hit the road again and will activate five parks in five counties under the callsign K9M. We need your help in smashing last year's score and winning the multi-multi mobile category. I'll be exclusively on 20m phone and Dave 40m CW/phone. If you hear the K9M callsign, work us. Especially if we are in a new county or park. I hope to get you in the log.
