I'm about to do something devious and I'm not even sorry about it.
But...
These cave paintings are the STUPIDEST args for Godzilla 2014, PERIOD.
Don't get me wrong, I have heard that some of these cave paintings happened before the events of 2014. And that even before getting nerfed by an EMP pulse, he was still a unit.
But that's essentially the thing. All of that happened LITERALLY before the events of 2014, meaning everyone on these paintings were not even at their best. Yes, even the Ghidorah fight because I guarantee you that THAT fight involved Godzilla needing help from another Titan just to lock him up in ice. And even then, he didn't even defeat him fully, cuz Shimo probably locked him up right after getting bodied by a weaker version of the Godzilla we all know in love. It's the same weaker version that lost to a fraud watch ape, and no, it's NOT Kong.
Don't even get me started on the Shimo Cave painting.
The Kong Cave painting is the only thing that kinda makes sense. And even then, this is not the same GvK Kong that had all the serious buffs. Because again, ALL OF THESE HAPPENED WAY BEFORE GVK.
What I'm trying to say is, can we stop using these args, at the end of the day, they're just speculations and they're supposed to serve as teasers for the next film. Or that it's just cool for the lore.... About that.
Yeah, this is what I mean when I say that Monsterverse lore gets retconned 1 way or another. And these cave paintings are no exception, I mean, when did the Godzilla vs Shimo fight take place before GvK? Does anyone know or did I miss something?
So yeah, just quit using these args for Godzilla 2014, can you.
