Israeli soprano Hila Fahima Ruschin is an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper) where she has appeared as Gilda in Rigoletto, Princesse Eudoxie in La Juive, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, as Nanetta conducted by Zubin Mehta in Falstaff, Sidonie in Gluck’s Armide conducted by Marc Minkowski, Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, Sophie in Werther, Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Fiakermilli in Arabella.
Roles added at the Vienna State Opera for the season 2017/18 include Die Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte and Dalinda in a new production of Ariodante, conducted by William Christie. Other highlights for this season are the role of Giunia in a world premiere of Lucio Silla at Theater Basel, Faure’s Requiem with the L’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, Handel’s Ariodante on tour with Les Arts Florissants and a revival of Rigoletto at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Recent engagements include her house debut at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse as Blondchen.
