[The CUE1, a non-invasive device for Parkinsonās]
The CUE1 utilises pulsed cueing and focused vibrotactile stimulation to alleviate symptoms including slowness, stiffness, and freezing of gait, resulting in improved movement.
Developed by a team of designers, engineers and clinicians, the CUE1 offers a novel, non-invasive approach to improving quality of life for people with Parkinsonās, with the simple push of a button.
Pilot tests have seen participants with Parkinsonās improve their MDS-UPDRS scores by an average of 9.3 points, 3 times the level considered clinically significant. 100% of participants reported that they would want to use the device again.
