We did it!!
One thousand subscribers! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the channel and all our adventures! I started this channel shortly after both of my parental figures died within weeks of each other and getting laid off and after learning the extent of my new son's medical issues and it was just a really bad time in life. I was packing on weight, depressed and had little motivation to do anything but be angry. But this channel gave me a creative outlet, motivated me to learn video editing and how YouTube works, and gave me accountability and motivation to workout, get fit and keep learning having adventures and challenging myself. At least in part thanks to this channel, I'm in the best shape of my life, picked up a lot of new skills, made new friends and started a new career.
So thank you everyone who supported me in reaching this goal. As promised, I'm going to start putting out higher quality videos, and we working on getting tshirts made (the boy has been dying for a R2DF tshirt and I promised I'd make him one at 1k subs) and we have a very cool trip and events happening this fall.

I'm getting ready to buy a new bike! If I pick it up from the store, it will be already assembled. If I order online and have it shipped to the house, there is a $75 shipping fee, but I get to put it together myself and can make a video of the process.
I don't make any money off this channel so this would be adding costs coming straight out of my pocket, and I'd have to edit the video down for time. More money and time, but it would be worth it if it's something you guys actually want to see.

First ride of the year lasted all of a block and a half before I got a flat. Not a big deal since I was so close to home. But what do you do if you have a long way to go before you can replace it, or get somewhere safe? Check out tomorrow's video to find out!
