Jenn Whiteman and Samantha Howard of the indie-folk duo RYVOLI initially met in Paris, France while working for the same non-profit organization. When Sam arrived in the City of Lights in early 2016, Jenn was already working on a debut solo album on which the two ended up collaborating. This collaboration provoked casual late-night jam sessions, songwriting, and such an excitement for music that they knew they had to go pursue it together.
After returning to the States in the fall of 2016, Jenn and Sam moved to Lexington, Kentucky where they formed RYVOLI in homage to a familiar street in Paris, Rue de Rivoli. When they’re not busy painting houses, the two have been busy creating music that draws on their strengths in exceptional guitar playing, candid lyrics, and tight harmonies. RYVOLI anticipates the release of their first EP which they’re recording in Nashville early 2017.
