Hi all. I’m currently working on a video I shot last year but never got round to putting out. It’s a video of my trip to Glastonbury Tor, where I captured this star trail image. It’s a little bit rough & ready, but I think it would be quite good entertainment. I hope to have it up on Sunday evening at 8pm.

I’ll be live on Monday at 8pm. If the weather is clear, I may be outside to see if I can bring a live image of Comet Atlas. I hope Storm Ashley will have passed over by then.

There is a good chance of seeing the Aurora borealis from Thursday 10th & possibly into the weekend. I will be going out to see if I can spot it. Check out the app AuroraWatchUK to stay up to date with the levels.

Well, I managed to catch the full moon rising on the evening before the partial eclipse. Hopefully I’ll be able to film the event, provided I can be awake at 3am!

Hi all. Don’t forget there’s a chance to see the partial lunar eclipse in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The moon will noticeably go darker on one side, especially near maximum, as it passes into the earth’s shadow. I have included a picture showing a more obvious partial lunar eclipse over Liverpool from a few years ago. The weather in UK is looking excellent for viewing as week. Here are the times (UK only). Hi all. Keep your eyes on the channel, as I hope to be going live this evening (Sunday 18th) from 8pm to film the moon rising. The moon is not actually full until Monday, but the weather doesn’t look good, so I’ll try to catch it live tonight as it’s 99% full, and will look pretty spectacular as it rises at the same time as sunset.
