The goal of the day is to provide a half-day of engaging professional development centered around teaching and learning with technology aligned to the 4 C’s.

The Ed Tech Institute for Teachers and Administrators is a special two-day event created by the Department of Educational Technology a part of the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida. This two-day event (Tuesday, June 9, 2020 and Wednesday, June 10, 2020) takes place fully online and focuses on educational technology strategies. Both days have separate agendas and they run from 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM Eastern Time.
We are excited to announce that we have speakers from the Educational Technology community from all over the United States, many of whom have been keynote or featured speakers at our District Technology Conference over the years. The event is free, and participants can attend virtually from anywhere in the world. We hope you can join us for one or both days. We also have thousands of dollars in prizes to give away. Prizes will be given away during each session. Prizes include swag bags, gift cards, and even an iPad! Must be present to win and we can only ship prizes to the US, sorry for our international friends!

We are the Educational Technology Training Team in the School District of Palm Beach County. Our normal daily job is to help teach teachers how to truly integrate technology into their everyday teaching and learning. Once we were thrust into a new learning environment with the pandemic in 2020, the Training Team began livestreaming content to help teachers be better teachers first remotely then during simultaneous instruction.
