A buddy in the DCS Learning discord helped me out by gifting me the Syria terrain so that is pretty rad. I'll be able to suck and get smacked out of the air in more servers now lol.
This summer has proven to be quite depressing for me. I have felt like I haven't made much progress towards my goals, and I have been exceedingly lonely. I don't know what to do to change my circumstances other than just doing what I always do. I've lived with depression my entire life and yes I can appreciate the joyous moments and the good days but I still am followed by darkness. I have always lived with intrusive thoughts of kms but I have made it this far. Up until a few years ago I never had to live with this much loneliness as there was always someone there, a girlfriend or best friend. So that has proven to be quite difficult. And I don't know how to make that change other than following my path and staying focused on my goals.
I hope everyone is doing well and I hope tomorrow is a good day.

A large update was released for DCS World!

Already I can feel and see changes made to the Phantom! I will have to spend some time learning the nuances of the changes, but I can already feel a difference.
Unfortunately, some of those changes have resulted in stuttering so I have had to turn shadows and cockpit Global Illumination off again.

Spent some quality time in the skies and on the tarmac with the DCS Learning Server crew practicing Mavericks. I'm definitely looking forward to another meet-up!

This was made as one of my Photography Lighting Finals. It was an assignment to mimic the lighting of a film or tv show and I chose a scene from the second episode of The X-Files to inspire me. I have always wanted to learn to do this type of full-body rim lighting and was very pleased!
Taken with my Sony a7iii + Canon EF 200mm L
Two Profoto BX10s
A Matthews 6x6 Break-A-Part Butterfly Frame Kit
and two black Mathews 4x4 flags

I've been enjoying the F-4E Phantom II since it was released but the past few days I have been back in the SU-27 and loving it again. Its speed and maneuverability make it so much fun and even though it's a massive and heavy plane, it feels so nimble and agile. I know it's not the fastest or most versatile fighter, but damn it's a beautiful plane.
