I was 18 and just graduated highschool when I found out I was pregnant with my son Atlas, and a month after atlas's first birthday he was diagnosed with cystinosis. I share what its like being a young mom to a medically complex toddler, and also sharing other aspects of our life such as homesteading, homeschooling, gardening, life as a mom, cleaning, and atlas's diagnosis the only reason why I choose to share atlas's diagnosis is because it's rare. His doctors didn't know what was happening to atlas and I don't want other parents to have to struggle the same way me and my husband had to.
