Craig Russell was the last great drag performer of the old school. He did all his own voices and never lipsynched. He once lived with Mae West. A great talent, but also an enfant terrible, plagued by personal demons. He died in 1990 of an AIDS related stroke. He remains in the hearts of those of us who loved him.
