Here's sharing our afternoon walk with daffodils. Daffodils are one of the beautiful spring-blooming flowers. Its botanical name is narcissus. The plant is said to be named after the vain hunter in Greek mythology, Narcissus.
Narcissus was so in love with his own reflection in the water that he ultimately drowned in it. That's why daffodils are always looking down a bit.
The psychological term narcissism also comes from this tale; to describe people who are attention seeking and have high opinion of themselves.
