Uploaded the video I mentioned in my previous post, its only a short one (just over 2 minutes), the chances of pulling a stoneware object out with a metal detector has got to be low, if it hadnt have been for a bit of junk laying over it, Christine would have just walked past it (yes, they were real tears, Christine called out to me and I could see her standing there with tears rolling down here face)

I am pretty sure that back in the day that whomever dropped this would never have imagined someone in the future standing there so emotional over their rubbish, we were blown away at how this thing had not been smashed like most things seem to be out in the fields -

from what we understand, its called a "Chinese Tiger whisky bottle", its date range is around 1850 to 1900, the markings on the bottom are

which we have roughly translated to "straight plow" but I am guessing its probably the makers name etc.

Best of luck to you all! <3

Hi!! I am really sorry we haven't uploaded any content for the past couple of months, Christine and I have been so busy since Wedderburn, which has kept us from getting into the fields, although it was really awesome to catch up with some of you at the recent "Australian Gold Prospectors Expo" in Bendigo.

Christine and I did manage to get to our last club meetup in Rushworth recently and we had a chance to get out for a bit of a sniff with our Equinox 800s ~ I found a couple of interesting things, gold plated button, old spoon etc. (no coins!) Christine found something really special (it won the clubs - "find of the month") which I have put together a short video for and hope to have it uploaded in the next day or so.

Best of luck to you all! <3
