Thank you everyone for the wonderful response to Yume Nikki: Exegesis! I know it's mostly treading old ground now, but it was a project I really wanted to get out into the open, to leave something of the highest quality behind for the Yume Nikki community. To snag a line out of the album's booklet: secretly, I hope to have made the definitive Yume Nikki tribute album, to contribute to the musical canon from which I draw.
I have huge plans for the future! My next two planned albums under this marque are concept albums, and while I don't want to spoil the whole show, I can say they're way less production-focused, and in particular, for the very next album I'm going to be listening to a lot of Bill Evans and Ahmad Jamal in preparation. I'll probably disappear into deep hibernation for these projects again, as I've always done, but don't take my silence for retirement. I absolutely adore music and I wouldn't trade doing it for anything in the world.
I know I say it all the time, but I mean it every time: it’s my great joy and privilege to entertain you, and I hope to continue to earn that privilege in the future. There are excellent things to come.

Hi again, everyone! I'm realizing I was being more provocative with the teasers than I'd intended to be, and so I want to temper expectations a bit going into Yume Nikki's 20th anniversary.
Yume Nikki: Exegesis is a re-release of Yume Nikki: Between the Lines, meticulously brought up to much higher standards with the experience and expertise I've built up since 2021. Some tracks were just touched up, and some were remade from the ground up to bring its musical core up to current standards. I‘ve done everything from re-produce, re-record, re-mix, and re-master to produce something I hope lives up to the marble from which it was cut; and secretly, I hope to have made the definitive Yume Nikki tribute album, to contribute to the musical canon from which I draw.
I hope I didn't disappoint you if you were expecting a brand new album with never-before-heard music! The truth is I had almost completely dried out that wellspring of music even back in 2021; Between the Lines was already close to the absolute maximum I could draw out and develop from Yume Nikki into novel and engaging music. But if you loved Between the Lines, I'm confident that Exegesis will grow on you just as well. I've polished everything in it to a mirror shine, and I couldn't be more proud of the end product.
Enjoy some peeks behind the curtains! I'm also sitting on like four big album ideas, all of which I know are absolute bangers, and one day you'll be hearing more about those. As always, it’s my great joy and privilege to entertain you, and I hope to continue to earn that privilege in the future.

Well that's the end of the reuploads. Before I disappear for a couple months again, I wanted to survey you guys over a couple things:
1) Would a retrospective video detailing some tidbits about some of my music interest any of you? These would be things like showing off some early versions of YN:BTL songs, explaining a bit about how I create, highlighting some of my own influences, etc.
2) Who are _you,_ dear listener? I'm still small enough that I read every comment I get, and I'm often curious about what kind of people you all are; how old you are, where you're from, what kind of unrelated interests you have that brought you here, etc.
