Hey everyone! I need some opinions, stat!
As you may know, I've just uploaded a video. And we all know my schedule isn't the most consistent. I still curse the day I thought I could upload every two weeks.
I'll be working hard on my next video for a while, and I plan to get it done for new years, potentially uploading it that very night. It's gonna be a good one too, I promise.
But that feels a bit too soon, doesn't it? My upcoming semester is much busier than before, meaning my upload frequency is going to decrease even more for the time being. I'm thinking it could be a better idea to delay the release of the video for a bit, to sort of smooth out video uploads until I can get back into things in May. Unless I have another lazy summer, like in 2023.
But maybe I'm overthinking things, maybe it doesn't matter. We all know how my schedule is, why not stay true to the fact?
Oh, and I'm thirty seconds off from a personal record of four hours of video in a year.
So what do I do?
This is on the assumption I can get the video done before new years. I'm confident that I can, but there's any possible reason out there that I can't. Also, the result of the poll won't make my decision. I want to see what people think about this, and that may or may not influence my decision. It probably will. If you have any further insight/suggestions, don't hesitate to comment.
Thank you, as ever. If I don't upload on new years, this is the last you'll hear from me on this platform in 2024 (but I'm still posting weekly on bluesky! I'll probably be discussing my decision there in the coming weeks, if you want to know more). You see, the 5th anniversary of my youtube channel is coming up soon (mid-February), and I've been trying to think of something to do to celebrate the occasion. A montage wouldn't feel right, as a lot of my early videos were... bad.
So I'm deciding to do a Q&A! Never done one before. I figure now is a good time.
So go on, throw me some questions! I won't be answering them here, it'll be for the anniversary video. Hopefully I complete that on time.
