Special Review Committee on Barangay Ordinances was created by the 11th Quezon City Council thru QC Council Resolution No. 29, S-1992 tasked to review all Barangay Ordinances/Resolutions passed and approved by the Sangguniang Barangay and Executive Orders issued by the Punong Barangays. The review is conducted to determine if these acts are within the scope of the prescribed powers of sangguniang barangay and punong barangay.

Under Katarungang Pambarangay Law the case filed sa lupon ay dadaan sa Lupon Chairman for mediation na gagawin sa loob ng 15 days. Pag hindi nagkasundo ang dalawang panig ito ay ibigay sa pangkat tagapagkasundo para sa conciliation na gagawin sa loob ng 15 days. Maaring dagdagan ng 15 days kung may nakikitang posibilidad na maayos ang sigalot. Ibig sabihin 45 days ang ibinigay na panahon for the lupon to resolve the case. Mga lupon ito ang tama at ito ang tandaan nyo. Simple na paliwanag.
