The Jesse A. Marcel Library (JAML) was founded in April 2012 with the goal of promoting UFO/UAP Disclosure. As America's first UFO whistleblower, Lt. Col. Jesse A. Marcel, Sr. rekindled public interest not only in UFOs, but also in the U.S. government's ongoing efforts to suppress public awareness that "we are not alone". During a February 1978 interview with UFO researcher Stanton Friedman, Marcel told the world that a UFO stemming from a non-human intelligence (NHI) was in the possession of the U.S. military and that he had been ordered to participate in misleading the public about its true nature and source of origin. As firsthand eyewitnesses to the debris recovered from the July1947 UFO crash near Roswell, NM, Major Marcel and his son, Dr. Jesse A. Marcel, Jr., M.D., both had the opportunity to hold in their hands and closely inspect the Roswell UFO wreckage while concluding that the debris was "not of this Earth". The Jesse A. Marcel Library stands behind that conclusion.
