Come laugh and learn with comedian Kendra Dawsey, in a 90 minute workshop designed to help professionals, educators, and everyday folks promote antiracism through critical race comedy.
Using the comedy of Black comedians and other comedians of color as a guide, this session will allow participants to explore and apply lessons about race, gender, class, sexuality, and history to their everyday lives.
Essential Questions:
ℹ️ What is critical race humor?
ℹ️ How can comedy help us learn and understand issues of race better?
ℹ️ How can you use comedy to promote antiracism in your home, workplace, classroom, and/or community?
