Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was incredible. Easily the best movie out do the three. It’s crazy how most movie series get worse with each entry, but somehow Sonic has gotten better with each entry.
It’s a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes!
As a huge fan of Shadow, I think he was fantastic here and I want to see more! Keanu Reeves killed it. While Shadow’s backstory in this movie is slightly different from the games, I think it was adapted very well and it follows the same beats, so I’m not mad at all.
The fact that Shadow is alien in origin in this movie instead of the result of a science experiment makes me think they’ll do something with Black Doom in a future movie.
I like how they sidelined the human characters because I thought they were kinda annoying in the first two movies, especially the second one.
I think that if this was Jim Carrey’s last movie he ever does, he was spectacular in it and he went out with a bang.
And finally, I appreciate the film’s message that you shouldn’t let your past fill you with unhealthy rage or change who you are inside.
How is it that a movie about hedgehogs who can run fast is better than most of the garbage Hollywood puts out these days? What happened to you, cinema?

My favorite coat just got destroyed by a massive tear (visible on the left) because it got caught in my armchair. I’ve had this coat since like 2018. My dad found it in his office and gave it to me because he couldn’t figure out who it belonged to. So I always felt like I was destined to have it.
And this is how it gets done in? What a shame. RIP
