On October 3, 2024 I had rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder due several tears. The injury was caused by playing a reed setup that was too hard for me. But I made the mistake of “pushing through”. It was definitely a “lesson learned” moment.
When I learned it may take 6-12 months to fully recover from the surgery I decided to purchase a pipe bag for “lefties”; that is, a bag set up for the right arm. I have decided to share my journey of “relearning” how to play bagpipes on “the other side”. The videos pertaining to this endeavor will be unedited. There will be some unpleasant bagpipe sounds. You have been warned. 😂
