FACT - The infant might struggle to maintain a good, secure latch when the upper lip fails to elevate or flange upward adequately. An upper lip tie can also interfere with the closing of the mouth, make brushing teeth difficult, or lead to gaps between teeth. Unfortunately it's a myth π
