Ezekiel 41:1-4
Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.
2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.
3 Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.
4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
Usually we might glance over these verses and chapters describing the temple which are a slog to read. Yet many religious people are infatuated with the beauty of their buildings and church houses but not fascinated with the beauty of the written words of God.
We can behold such temples and buildings from a distance and see their magnificence but miss the corner stone. The same is done when we don't believe that every word of God is pure. It takes a closer look to see the detail and richness of his word.

John 21:25 KJV
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
The gospel accounts give us a complete picture of our Lord. He is Messiah, the Christ. A servant, friend, and sinless man, the Son of God, our Prophet, Priest and King. It is finished and there's nothing left unsaid, despite many false gospels and writings that try to pass as scripture. There are moments in our lives that are unspoken days of darkness. Yet Christ is the light that draws all men to himself and that which is not written we could not behold (isaiah 26:10). Yet the Lord has not left us without understanding. Even as Thomas walked with Christ and witnessed these unwritten events, he thrust his hand into Jesus' side to believe.
John 20:30
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
Paul exorts "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." We are told to keep His word, not seek signs as we walk by faith, not by sight. We can bear witness to the light that has shone upon us and still work the works of God
John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
A devotional attempt. Thanks for reading.
