Food is the one thing that we all have in common and it is a powerful vehicle for change. After living and working in London for close to 25 years, I moved to a remote town in Sicily called Mussomeli in December 2020. I did this before the end of the Brexit transition period and I am happy to report that I am now an Italian resident. In July 2021 I launched a community kitchen here in Mussomeli called The Good Kitchen. Every week I rescue surplus food and then use that food to cook for vulnerable people of the town. The kitchen has become a social hub in the town and many people come to make friends and share a meal together. Follow my journey here in Sicily and also learn more about The Good Kitchen
