This morning while the ladies were free-ranging in the front of the house. They attracted two visitors. They were within 10 or so feet on the top of our roof. All but one of the chickens had hid when the Hawks showed up. Luckily I was paying attention looking out the window and I was able to deter the Hawks and stand guard until they left.

I mistakenly left the door open to go check on the chickens.... And this guy decided to come inside

Been asked about why I stopped flying the drone. It's really hot and flying in the extreme heat is bad for the battery. I'll do more flying when the temperature starts dropping again.

One of our young hens laid a "shell-less" egg today. Would be concerned, but it was just her first egg and this can sometimes happen.

Since getting the chickens in February, these are the first two eggs we've received. Very exciting!
