This is the youtube channel of Irish Folk/Ballad singer Roger McGuire who hails from Wexford, in the South-east of Ireland.
Roger has been playing professionally now for a number of years and has performed as both a solo artist and as a band member in various different places both abroad and at home.
He has a very wide repertoire of well-known (and sometimes not so well-known) folk songs and ballads that are guaranteed to have you singing along with him by the end of his performance.
Occasionally other musicians join him for sessions and/or recordings.
In live performance, Roger plays acoustic guitar and sings his songs with a passion that he hopes the audience can feel. Meanwhile in the studio, Roger is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, banjo, mandolin and harmonica.
