Can’t go on vacation for Christmas to Oklahoma without brining home a souvenir! Bought this from a local mom and pop guitar shop outside Tulsa. I will be doing a video. I learned something interesting today about guitars and Guitar Center and the importance of buying local and also how overpriced Fender and Gibson guitars are.

My latest video is a big flop, guess I should have used a click bait title. Anyway, if you are a subscriber and haven't seen it yet, please check it out. I talk about trying to achieve a certain guitar tone. I see other YouTube videos where the person playing the guitar has amazing tone, yet I can't seem to duplicate it. How do you get great tone?

No surprise that a video about not using click bait titles is one of the worst performing videos I have made this year and a video with the term SCAM in it, has 215 more views than a normal video since it was uploaded! The SCAM video also gained 3 subscribers, and the click bait video has gotten none! Interestingly though the view duration on the clickbait video was longer than most.

My channel started out as The Guitar Dungeon, but another YouTuber had that name (and actually sent me a message basically asking me to change the name) so I then settled on Jayce Allan Music. That first channel became Rock N Replay a channel of all music trivia shorts. Now I'm here at Jayce Allan Guitar. YouTube is not my full time job, so I try to get videos out a couple times a week, but that isn't always possible.
