Jag heter Lydia och jag kommer frÄn en liten by vid den vackra sjön VÀttern, i Sverige.
Vad tycker jag Àr roligt och vad fÄr mitt hjÀrta att slÄ?
Det som Àr viktigt för mig Àr kÀrlek, vÀnskap, Àkthet, kÀnslor. 
Att tala frÄn sitt hjÀrta. 
Autenticitet. 
Goda vibrationer. 
Meditation.
Att omfamna sig sjÀlv, ta hand om sig sjÀlv ~ hudvÄrd och bra vanor. 

Jag tycker om att skriva dikter, för de Àr destillerade uttryck av kÀnslor ~ liksom lÄttexter kan vara. 

Jag har skrivit Godnattboken med godnattdikter, som kan lÀsas vid sÀngkanten för att skapa igenkÀnning, trygghet, lugn och ro. 

Historien bakom Godnattboken Ă€r följande: Allt började med att jag ville sĂ€ga nĂ„gra fina ord pĂ„ kvĂ€llen pĂ„ Ă€ldreboendet, som var min arbetsplats. Jag ville sĂ€ga nĂ„got mer Ă€n ”godnatt". Jag stannade kvar en stund hos varje enskild person och sa nĂ„gra vĂ€l valda ord. Ord som kunde skapa lugn och trygghet. Jag ville ocksĂ„ pĂ„minna om livets fina stunder. Efter det började jag att skriva ned orden som dikter ~ mina godnattdikter. Godnattboken föddes. 

Dikterna önskar godnatt.
I dikterna finns fina ord.
Min dröm Àr att alla ska somna med en fin kÀnsla i kroppen och att alla ska kÀnna sig vÀrdefulla. 
MÀnniskovÀrdet rÄder. 

NÄgot av det finaste jag hört om Godnattboken kom frÄn en dam, nÀr jag satt vid hennes sÀngkant. Hon log mot mig, nÀr jag lÀst för henne och sa: 
"Du fyller mig med sÄna ord som jag tycker om och mÄr bra av." 
Jag tror inte att det bara var orden hon tyckte om. Utan ocksÄ samvaron ~ stunden vi delade tillsammans. DÀrför har jag skrivit Godnattboken och dÀrför har jag skapat denna YouTubekanal med dikter frÄn Godnattboken. 

HÀr finns Àven dikter pÄ olika dialekter. 
Jag har mÀrkt att personer i alla Äldrar uppskattar att höra dikterna upplÀsta pÄ sin lokala dialekt. Det vÀcker hemkÀnslan i oss. 

Jag upplever att godnattdikterna skapar just hemkÀnsla och det Àr ju sÀrskilt vÀrdefullt, för dem som bor pÄ sjukhus och boenden.

My name is Lydia and I come from a small village by the beautiful lake VÀttern, in Sweden. 
What excites me and makes my heart beat?
The important thing for me is love, friendship, authenticity, feelings. 
To speak from one’s heart. 
Authenticity. 
Good vibes. 
Meditation.
Embracing oneself, taking care of oneself ~ skincare and good habits. 

I enjoy writing poems, because they are distilled expressions of emotions ~ as lyrics for music can be. 

I have written the Goodnight Book with goodnight poems, which can be read at the bedside to create recognition, comfort, peace and quiet. 

The story behind the Goodnight Book is as follows: It all started when I wanted to say a few nice words in the evening at the nursing home, which was my workplace. I wanted to say something more than ”goodnight". I stayed for a little while with each person and said a few well chosen words. Words that could create calmness and comfort. I also wanted to remind them of the beautiful moments of life. Then I began to write down the words as poems ~ my goodnight poems. The Goodnight Book was born. 

The poems wish goodnight. 
There are nice words in the poems. 
My dream is that everyone should fall asleep feeling nice and that everyone should feel valuable. 
The human value prevails.

One of the nicest things I have heard about the Goodnight Book was said to me by a lady, when I was sitting by her bed. She smiled at me when I had read to her and she said: 
“You fill me with words that I enjoy and words that makes me feel good." 
I don’t think it was just the words that she liked. But also the togetherness ~ the moment we shared together. That's why I've written the Goodnight Book and that's why I've created this YouTube channel with poetry readings. 

There are also poems in different dialects. 
In my experience, people of all ages appreciate hearing the poems recited in their local dialect. It awakens the feeling of home in us. 

I really think that the goodnight poems can create a sense of familiarity and that is especially valuable for those who live in hospitals and care homes.
