The ̶W̶h̶i̶t̶e̶ RAINBOW House 🏳️🌈🇺🇸🏳️⚧️ 9 years ago today, the USA legalized gay marriage. Today, our President pardoned thousands of gay veterans who were convicted of having gay s*x while serving in the military. They are now free to get all of the military benefits they lost.
When I was a kid, I was constantly bullied for being gay. When I turned 18, I wasn’t legally allowed to get married. Today, I stood beneath The White House, looking up its 7-story-tall pillars…and I saw a rainbow. My flag—our flag—on our nation’s most important building. 🥹😭🌈
I wish little Josh were here to see this day🥺 But something inside tells me he’s here, smiling and teary eyed at the unbelievable progress our world has made.
We still have a very long way to go, but today and every day, we are here and WE ARE QUEER. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Today I could feel 13-year-old me—the boy with no friends, who no one would talk to for being gay—whispering “this is real. you are here. you did it josh”
I could also feel the bullies—the kids who told me I was a loser, a f*gg0t, a failure—whispering “lmao loser. LOSER!!!”
It hurts me to even type this.
I go to therapy every week, I try my best to do some good in the world, I try to believe I am worthy, but sometimes the bad whispers come through (especially when they aren’t useful.) Trauma stays with us 💔
That’s why when states pass laws targeting LGBTQ+ Children — mainly Trans Kids — I always think about the trauma.
They say they are “PrOtEcTiNg ThE ChILdReN” but all they’re doing is causing trauma.
So to see the President of the United States dance to queer musicians🏳️🌈, tell Trans Kids they are loved🏳️⚧️, and throw the biggest Pride celebration in HISTORY🎉 makes my eyes water and my heart fill with love 🥹😭💗
Because that’s what LGBTQ+ kids need right now. LOVE ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you President Biden for reminding every queer kid (even the queer kid inside of me🥺) they are loved. They are seen. And they matter.

Breaking Gay News— This is NOT A JOKE. Florida just passed their “SLATE OF HATE” law. It is truly horrifying.
1- Trans ADULTS are effectively banned from getting healthcare. They must get “written consent” from multiple “oversight boards” filled with members selected by the Governor if they want to get healthcare.
The Governor announced this under a “Let Kids Be Kids” sign as he banned healthcare for Adults.
2- Trans kids are banned from getting healthcare.
3- Teachers, Guidance Counselors & school employees are banned from telling students their pronouns, or asking students for their pronouns.
4- Trans people are banned from using a bathroom or locker room in any public facility — from schools to prisons. If they want to go to bathroom, they have to use the bathroom “based on their biological sex.”
Forcing trans women to use the men’s room is a recipe for genoc1de.
5- Businesses will be shut down & lose their license if they let anyone under 18 into a drag show.

Breaking Gay News🚨 I am incredibly sorry to report that the second largest state in the country just banned healthcare for trans kids.
The most horrifying part of Texas’ new bill is that they will forcibly detransition trans kids who are already on medicine - requiring them to “wean off” their current medication over an unspecified period of time. That could mean 1 week. We don’t know.
