The Peace and Justice Channel has only one reason for being: the increasingly long-odds prospects for a war-free world where war criminals are clearly identified and punished as such. Operated by Monique Frugier, a peace activist since 2000, the channel uses video to call attention to the steady stream of American human rights violations and war crimes. As you can guess, video vigilance is a full-time job that consumes, and often drains, this film-maker's strength and spirit. But as a French woman who lost her father in late 1944 without ever seeing him, Frugier feels her sacrifices are puny compared to his. Therefore, she has vowed to struggle for the permanent peacetime her father and his two surviving daughters deserve but have yet to see.
