The Gibson Brothers are the reigning IBMA Entertainers of the Year. The Gibsons also won IBMA's Vocal Group of the Year for the second time, picked up their second win for Song of the Year ("They Called It Music"), and were awarded Songwriter of the Year (Eric) at the International Bluegrass Music Awards in Raleigh, NC.
The band was awarded EOY for the first time in 2012 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. The Gibsons also won Gospel Recorded Performance for "Singing As We Rise" with Ricky Skaggs in 2012.
The Gibson Brothers won Album of the Year ("Help My Brother") in 2011 as well as Vocal Group of the Year, the first time a brother duet was given the honor.
In 2010, "Ring the Bell" won both Song of the Year and Gospel Recorded Performance.
