Exactly 1 year ago today I had the random idea of making a YouTube channel dedicated to rock music. I started off by making 2 YouTube shorts that I have since deleted cause they sucked lol. But a little over a week later I found myself up late at like 3:30 in the morning playing around with my editing app trying to make a tik tok over reason I donāt wanna discuss because of how stupid it was, but it was then and there where I learned how to make lyric videos. About a day before my birthday on July 28th, the band āŖ@FromAshesToNewā¬ released there album called āBlackoutā (thanks for the bday present guys š¤£) an album I was waiting for since I first saw them live in Bridgeport, CT with Shinedown and Three Days Grace. The song on that album that really first stood out to me after listening to the whole thing in order was āBroken By Designā. For some reason I instantly loved that song, and it was the only song I played for about a week. During that time on July 31st, when I was messing around with my editing. I ended up making a lyric video on Broken By Design, and I ended up posting it on here. I didnāt expect much, I had 1 sub on this channel and it was me on my different account. But when I woke up the next morning. I saw that the video had like 200 something views which surprised me. It was then and there I realized that this could turn into something. And something it turned into. A bit later I made a video on Dead to Me by FATN and it āblew upā gaining like 10k views in a few days, but it wasnāt until thanksgiving weekend of last year until shit really happened. I made a video on Heartache, one of my favorite songs by FATN. And it really started to blow up, gaining 20k views in a few days and 500 ish subs, I realized that I definitely had something going here. And here we are today, still going strong. I wanna thank each and every single one of you for you support over the past year. This turned into something I never possibly could imagine. And i look forward to making many more videos in the future. Love yall!!! ā¤ļøš¤
