As a self-taught artist, I have spent many joyous hours experimenting with different techniques and materials to develop my personal style. Abstract art is a particularly conducive style for self-taught artists, as it often involves a great deal of experimentation and freedom of expression. Pouring techniques involve mixing different colors and densities of paint together and then pouring them onto a canvas, allowing them to mix, or not mix, and flow in unique ways.
