About
河岸ホテルは、社員寮兼倉庫をリノベーションした若手現代アート作家のためのスタジオ・ギャラリー付きレジデンスです。若手作家が生活を営みながら24時間利用可能な作業スペースで制作活動に打ち込める環境を整えます。また、ホテルや飲食店も併設することで、世界各国や日本各地から宿泊・鑑賞に来てくださる方々と入居作家との新たな関係性を日常的に生み出すことを目的としています。希望入居者には、施設内でスタッフとして働くことで制作費や制作時間の確保ができる環境を提供します。
KAGANHOTEL is a community based art facility accommodating hotel and hostel type guest rooms for the general public,as well as an artist-in-residency programme.With a gallery and shared atelier provided in the building, KAGANHOTEL will be a new cultural spot, located two minutes away from Kyoto station by train.Opening in October 2019, we are recruiting new members for our artist-in-residence programme.
