Imani Bashir has lived in 5 countries on 4 continents. She moved & lived abroad solo and has done it with a family. She also gave birth to her son in Szczecin, Poland and knows what it’s like raising a school-aged child abroad!

As a journalist her work has told the many stories of being a Black Muslim woman, mother, and expat abroad and she's been featured in Travel & Leisure, The New York Times, Business Insider, and many others. She has also been seen on television networks such as OWN Network, BBC, FOX Business, and NBC, and her channel's greatest goal is allowing people to learn more about themselves and others through the world of travel!

In June of 2021, she released the first bag of her luggage line, The Takeoff Collection, 3-in-1 patent-pending travel duffle called The Expat Bag! It sold out in 7 months! She has since rebranded the line and will be dropping it again soon!
