Naughty Dog announced today that #TheLastOfUsMultiplayer will require more time and they are working on a new single player project.
Bloomberg also reported today that Destiny 2 Developer Bungie vetted the game and decided that the game did not have enough staying power, likely resulting in the delay.
Naughty Dog developers have also seemingly been reallocated to different projects.
